The number of companies that became residents of the Advanced Development Territories (ADZs) of "closed" nuclear cities increased from 20 to 43 in 2020. The volume of investments of new residents will exceed 4 billion rubles, more than 1 thousand jobs will be created.

Atom-TOR General Director Nikolay Pegin attributed such growth in the number of investors to the organization of a systematic approach to attracting new business. This approach provides, first of all, for the creation of a favorable investment climate in closed territorial entities (CATOs).

He noted that the main task faced by the company was not just to bring the maximum number of new projects to the ASEZ, but also to eliminate the element of chance and develop a clear scheme.

The leaders in terms of attracted investments were the ADZs "Novouralsk" and "Seversk".

The company Tefra signed an agreement with Atom-TOR to operate in the ASEZ "Seversk" on the processing of ash from coal-fired thermal power plants. Another company, Ecoalliance, will modernize a line for the production of catalytic exhaust gas catalysts for automobiles.
