Bashkortostan has increased foreign trade with Turkey, Latvia, Belgium, Uzbekistan, Mexico and Azerbaijan. Also, republican companies have established contacts with Ecuador, Honduras, Uruguay, Morocco, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Overall, shipments from the region outside the country from January to November last year decreased by almost 26% compared to the same period in 2019 and amounted to $3.3 billion.

At the same time, the share of non-resource non-energy exports increased to 61% of the region's total exports. Previously, this figure was 47%.

The website of the Government of the Republic reports that the region became the only one in the country, which provided exporters with several types of financial assistance, including compensation for the cost of transporting goods to other countries and international certification of products and export "cashback".

Also, the republic became one of the six pilot Russian regions that launched the "Export Fast Track" accelerator. Its participants were 22 companies from different industries. As the result 12 export contracts to the amount of more than 2 million dollars were made.
