KAMAZ intends to launch new models of K5 generation vehicles on the market. The question is about a truck tractor and two dump trucks.

The main difference of the new tractor is its 6x2 wheel configuration. This is made by installing an additional lift axle. The truck is equipped with in-line 6-cylinder engine with an output of 450 hp, 12-speed automatic transmission and hypoid drive axle. In addition, the vehicle has a comfortable cab with a flat floor and two sleeping places.

Another advantage of the new vehicle is an increased fuel tank up to 650 liters and drain interval up to 120 thousand kilometers. The vehicle resource reaches 1.2 million kilometers.

A trial assembly of the trucks was held last year, and now the first batch of trucks has been put into test operation and serial production of this model has been launched. The trucks are planned to be put on sale in March, and in November new models of this family will be available.

In addition, in 2021 the company will release on the market dump trucks for transportation of bulk loads. They are also equipped with 450 hp engines and rear driving axles with axle load of 16 tons. Several variants of dumpers (from 16 to 25 cubic meters) will be used depending on operating conditions.
