The Tkachev family's agricultural complex has once again become Russia's largest landowner
"N.I. Tkachev Agrocomplex, the family of the former head of the Ministry of Agriculture Alexander Tkachev, has retained first place in Forbes' ranking of the country's largest landowners.
The 660 thousand hectares of agricultural land are located in the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories and the Rostov Region. This land is valued at almost 89 billion rubles, the media report.
Second place on the list went to Prodimex (892.2 thousand hectares), owned by Igor Khudokormov. The lands are worth over 65 billion rubles. In third place is Miratorg with 1.047 million hectares of land, worth 49.1 billion rubles.
French company "Sucden" and "Agrosila" with "Ak Bars" from Tatarstan entered in the rating for the first time.
In general, all the participants of the list own 8.3 million hectares of land worth 617.3 billion rubles. This is about a third more than their value in 2019.
