Brazil extends anti-dumping measures on tire imports from Russia

Brazil has extended for 5 years anti-dumping measures with regard to imports of automobile tires. The relevant document was published in the official Brazilian Herald, according to the website of the Russian trade mission in Brazil.

The measures apply to supplies of radial tires of 20'', 22'' and 22.5'' diameter from Russia, South Korea, Thailand and Japan.

As it was reminded in the trade mission, anti-dumping measures on supplies of tires for trucks from Russia were introduced in 2014.

The duty for Russian manufacturers was reduced by more than 4 times to $0.72 per kilogram, or up to $720 per ton. However, the duty remained unchanged for tire manufacturer Cordiant and remained at $1.1 per kilogram, or $1,100 per tonne.
