Kronshtadt, a manufacturer of aviation and airfield equipment, has started the construction of the country's first plant to mass-produce drones.

The new company will appear in the Moscow region by the end of this fall.

According to the company's press service, the plant will be erected in Dubna in a record time. More than four billion rubles will be invested in the project.

It will employ over 1.5 thousand people.

According to Sergei Bogatikov, CEO of the company, Dubna has a well-developed industry and production. "We have a very tight deadline, we will do our best to meet it," he said.
