Russians will have ten days off in May
Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved the proposal of Rospotrebnadzor head Anna Popova to make the four days between May holidays a holiday.
Thus, the first ten days of May in Russia will be non-working days.
Popova explained that making such a decision would be right against the backdrop of the pandemic, because otherwise Russians would have to use public transport more often when leaving the city for a holiday and returning back.
"If you think it's necessary, fine, we'll do it," the president said.
This means that the spring holidays will last from May 1 to 10 inclusive.
