Ozon has launched the largest logistics centre in the Novosibirsk Region in Siberia. It has created about 1 thousand new jobs and will invest about RUB 3.5 billion in the region.

Over the past year, the number of Novosibirsk Region's entrepreneurial partners in the marketplace has increased six-fold.

The opening of the hub will make it much easier for local sellers to get their goods onto the electronic marketplace. The logistics hub will also stimulate the development of online trading in the region, as local entrepreneurs will be able to deliver goods faster and save on logistics.

At the same time, the products that are stored in the Novosibirsk hub are shipped across the country and to other countries. This means that local sellers will be able to establish not only federal, but also global sales.

With the opening of the hub, the marketplace will attract new couriers and partners of the network of order-delivery points. Ozon has invested RUB 600 million in the first stage of the project. The company plans to invest about 3.5 billion rubles in the facility over the next four years.
