Schoolchildren from Russia win all the gold at the Asian Physics Olympiad

The Asian Physics Olympiad, which was held in Taiwan, came to an end. The team from Russia made up of eight schoolchildren won all the gold in the competition, thus setting an absolute record.

The competition had to compete for 180 students from 23 countries. At the end of the Olympiad the Russians won eight gold medals.

Russia was represented by a team of pupils from Moscow Region, St. Petersburg and Moscow.

The training was conducted on the basis of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Artem Voronov became the head coach of the team, and Vitaly Shevchenko and Yury Skakov were the team managers.

Earlier it was reported that the international competition resource center First Lego League announced the recruitment of participants in teams, which will be prepared for the Moscow championship in robotics First Russia Robotics Championship upcoming season. The best teams of the Moscow championship will go to the national championship.
