Russian digital project "Gigarama" about beautification in Moscow won the Internet Oscar

Gigarama, a creative laboratory from Russia, won the prestigious international Webby award with its project "Sing, District! This was announced by Gigarama on its social networks.

"Sing, District" won the award in the category "Best Use of Video or Moving Image" in the category "Websites and Mobile Applications: Functionality and Design" based on the results of the audience vote. Along with Gigarama, companies from Denmark, Singapore, the USA and Canada vied for the prize.

The project is dedicated to the integrated transformation of the Moscow district of Kapotnya, which was carried out as part of the urban development program "My Neighborhood", and the modernization of the Moscow Oil Refinery "Gazprom Neft". This year, over 13 thousand projects from the world's leading companies including Marvel, Google, Apple, Vogue, Netflix, Spotify and many others participated in the contest. The best ones were chosen by Internet users and 2 thousand members of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences from all over the world. Meanwhile, another work of the lab, Made in the Taiga, was included by the experts in the Webby Awards XXV honorable mentions list.

The Webby Awards is an international award for the best achievements in the field of the Internet, which has been given annually to the world's best web projects (websites, Internet ads, network videos, services, and sites for mobile phones) since 1996.
