The Slovak government has approved the use of the Russian vaccine against Sputnik V coronavirus in the country. This was reported by the online publication Teraz.

The country received the first batch of the vaccine on 1 March. According to the newspaper, the drug will be used in June.

Earlier the media reported that Hungary had sent to the Ministry of Health of Slovakia the results of studies on the successful completion of samples of the Russian vaccine. The tests were carried out in Hungary due to the lack of required laboratories in Slovakia.
