Mars, an international company, will allocate over 10 billion rubles by 2023 for implementation of projects in Russia, including expansion and modernization of production facilities, mass media reports say.

About 800 million rubles will be invested by the company to install a plasma biofilter for air purification at the pet food production facility under the Mars Petcare brand located in the village of Luzhniki in the Moscow Region. It will also allocate 4 billion rubles for the expansion of the company's production area.

At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the company signed an agreement with the Ulyanovsk regional government and agreed to invest 1.6 billion roubles for capacity expansion in the region and construction of the second stage of the research centre.

In addition, Mars signed an agreement with the Rostov region to build the third stage of the Mars Petcare plant, worth 4 billion roubles.
