KAMAZ increased production of trucks by 26% in January-May

In the first five months of the current year KAMAZ has increased the production of trucks by 26% to 17 thousand vehicles compared to the same period last year.

It is noted that in May, even taking into account the holidays, the enterprise has produced more than 2.7 thousand vehicle sets for two weeks, it is 10% higher than last year's figures.

More than three thousand engines and power units manufactured at the engine plant and the Cummins Kama joint venture have been delivered to the main assembly line and other vehicle manufacturers. A year ago, the figure was 2.96 thousand units.

In total, they have manufactured 18.6 thousand engines for various vehicles since the beginning of the year. This is 24% more than in 2020.

Last month, the company sold spare parts worth 2.5 billion rubles, compared to 1.76 billion rubles in May of 2020. In the first five months, that figure has exceeded 12 billion roubles - a year-on-year increase of 38%.

In the first four months of the year, KAMAZ increased its vehicle shipments to customers by 29.7% to 14,300 units.

Previously, the CEO of the company Sergey Kogogin said that the company plans to increase the sales plan for the current year. At the moment the company plans to sell 37 thousand trucks, 32 thousand of which in Russia. Due to the positive results of the first quarter the holding increased its production plan by 13% up to 39 thousand vehicles.
