Serial production of the new commercial vehicle "Gazelle NN" has started at the assembly site of GAZ Group in Turkey. The car will be equipped with an engine of Euro-6 environmental class, according to the company's website.

In the future the Russian company also plans to launch production of cargo and cargo-passenger vans in Turkey.

Assembly of the new model begins with automobile chassis with GVW of 3.5 tonnes, on which superstructures will be mounted for different types of business.

Vehicles are equipped with Cummins F2.8 "Euro-6" engine with an output of 170 horsepower and equipped with a new six-speed gearbox, which improved the dynamic and traction characteristics of the vehicle, and reduced fuel consumption, noise and vibrations. Its resource is 300 thousand kilometers.

It should be reminded that at the end of April the Pavlovsky bus plant of GAZ Group started mass production of Vektor Next buses running on compressed natural gas. The bus is equipped with a domestic natural gas engine complying with the Euro 5 environmental standard, and gas tanks provide for a driving range of up to 600 kilometres on a single charge.
