Russia ranked ninth in terms of skills in technology, data science and business. Such data was presented by Coursera, an international online education platform.

The company examined data from 77 million students on the platform in more than 100 countries since the pandemic began. For this purpose their competences in business, technology and data science were analyzed, writes TASS.

The overall level of skills in these three categories among Russian users was 93%.

In this case, in the indicator "data science" Russia took the fourth place with an overall level of skills of 97%. In this segment, the highest levels of proficiency are in mathematics (99%) and statistical programming (100%), the lowest in data analysis - 2%.

Also 100% in programming, in web development (99%), and in working with databases (98%).

At the same time low positions are occupied by information systems security (12%), cloud technologies (22%) and computer networks (29%).

In the "business" indicator Russia ranked only 24th. Here the level of competence does not exceed 79%. As the research data have shown, Russians demonstrate poor skills in accounting (10%), entrepreneurship (36%), financial management (36%), leadership and management (38%).
