A gluten-free baking company "Foodcod" from the Moscow region has signed an export contract with contractors from the U.S. to supply its products worth $1 million, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow region said.

"Foodcod company from Volokolamsk city district will supply gluten-free products worth $1 million to the US. The first shipment will already take place in July," the statement said.

The company found new partners from the USA at international exhibition GULFOOD 2021 that was held on February 21-25, 2021 in Dubai (UAE). The Volokolamsk manufacturer took part in the exhibition as part of a group stand of the Moscow Region organized by the regional Foreign Economic Activity Support Fund (FES), the ministry explained.

"Export-oriented manufacturers of the Moscow region have the opportunity to take part in international exhibitions free of charge. Such services for regional enterprises are provided by the Moscow Region Foreign Economic Activity Support Fund, which covers all organizational costs, including the creation of a group stand. The schedule of international exhibitions, which the Fund offers regional exporters to visit, can be found on the website of the organization", - the words of the head of the department Ekaterina Zinovieva are quoted.
