Russian artist Pokras Lampas will create 10 NTF-works, which will be auctioned on the international bitcoin exchange Binance. The auction will take place after the launch of Binance marketplace on June 24.

NFT (non-fungible token) is a unique non-interchangeable digital key created based on the cryptocurrency. Using the technology, any digital object can be sold or bought, including an image. The owner of an NFT digital object acquires a unique token, such as an artist's digital signature.

A representative of the crypto exchange told RBC-Crypto that each artist's work will consist of three parts: video, audio and text. The video is based on fragments of paintings by Pokras Lampas, "elevated to a technical absolute". This way they cannot be reproduced by hand in calligraphy, each part is a part of paintings exhibited all over the world. The audio is the voice of the artist reading the points of the manifesto in English. The text is the 10 points of the manifesto of calligrapher-uturism, a movement in calligraphy that Lampasas has invented.

The author and participant of numerous art projects and international exhibitions, performances and street art festivals, Pokras Lampas is one of the most prominent representatives of modern calligraphy and the founder of a new trend in art - calligrafuturism. In recent years, he has taken part in street art projects and exhibitions in Russia, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, China, South Korea, the USA, Switzerland and the UAE. In June 2021, the artist launched the project for UEFA Euro 2020, officially presenting St. Petersburg for the European Football Championship.
