Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs will be able to appeal against decisions of supervisory authorities using a digital service from July 1.

From 1 July 2021 a pre-trial appeal procedure will be introduced in Russia for certain types of control. The appeal procedure must be completed before going to court. It will be possible to do this online using the digital "Complaint against the decision of supervisory bodies" of the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services.

The complaint will be accepted for consideration within five working days from the date of filing. The maximum term for consideration of a complaint by a control body is 20 working days from the date of its registration.
