Wildberries launched direct sales from overseas suppliers
Russia's largest online retailer Wildberries has launched direct sales from foreign suppliers.
"At the first stage of Wildberries' pilot project on direct sales from foreign markets, goods from sellers from Belarus, Kazakhstan and China have already become available to Russians," the company's press service told reporters.
Delivery of goods from sellers will be carried out both by own logistics service of Wildberries (for example, in Belarus and Kazakhstan), and by international logistics partners (in China and other countries). Russians will be able to receive parcels from foreign sellers at the Wildberries order pickup points. Duration of receipt of orders by customers will take from several days to two weeks depending on the seller's country, delivery will be free.
In the future, goods from manufacturers in the European Union and other countries where the online retailer operates may appear on Wildberries. To date, Wildberries is available in 14 countries, including Russia, the United States, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
