Domestic films and series registered in Moscow will be available to viewers in more than 20 countries thanks to the online film market Key Buyers Event, said the Deputy Mayor of the capital, Natalia Sergunina.

In the online market, according to her, was attended by about 80 Moscow companies, which have shown potential buyers and partners 339 projects. These are feature films, documentaries, serials and animation, writes TASS.

"Thanks to the agreements reached at the forum, they will be seen in more than 20 countries - in France, Spain, the United States, Canada, Sweden, Thailand and others," - the press service of the Department of Entrepreneurship of Moscow quotes Sergunina.

As a result, "Soyuzmultfilm" has announced three deals with the French distributor Playbig and British companies Jetpack and Bill Melendez Productions (UK) Ltd.

Russian film company Central Partnership, official content distributor for VGTRK Sovteleexport, and Russian World Vision have also signed contracts with their foreign counterparts.

Another 63 projects were presented by companies for co-production.

International online marketplace of audiovisual content was held from June 8 to 13 and gathered 1,6 thousand participants from all over the world. Major industry players including Netflix, Apple and BBC Studios took part in the event.
