The products of the Educational and Experimental Dairy Plant of the Vologda State Dairy Academy (VGMCA) named after N. Vereshchagin. N.V. Vereshchagin State Dairy Academy was awarded gold medals at the competition of quality of dairy and dairy products, which was organized within the "International Dairy Week" in the city of Uglich, Yaroslavl region.

"Enterprises from more than thirty regions of the country, as well as from the Republic of Belarus and Ukraine brought their products to the contest. The tasting committee consisted of experienced leading experts in the field of butter production, including those from European countries. The Tasting Commission of the Training and Experimental Dairy Plant presented four samples of its products, and they all won high awards. The Vologda butter and sour cream (fat content 25%) was awarded a Grand Prix, kefir and butter "Chocolate" were awarded gold medals," - says the report of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.

Educational and experimental dairy plant of Vereshchagin All-Russian State Dairy Academy is one of the key enterprises involved in training personnel for the dairy industry together with the Vologda State Dairy Academy. The plant provides the Academy's experimental workshop with up to 3.5 tons of milk per year.
