In the Novosibirsk region, almost a third of settlements do not have stationary trade facilities. This was reported by TASS, citing the regional government press service.

The authorities noted that the negative trend for closing shops is recorded on the basis of the data submitted by entrepreneurs.

"Novosibirsk region 1419 settlements, and in 333 of them there are no stationary objects of trade," the report said.

A number of negative factors, including lack of staff, expensive logistics and delivery of goods, depreciation of the car fleet, the outflow of residents to regional centers and cities become the reason for closing trade outlets.

As a result, delivery through postmen, village councils or delivery trucks remains the main way for residents to get their goods.

In connection with this, the authorities have decided this year to allocate 21 million rubles in subsidies. "This will make it possible to preserve the existing trade in remote villages," the government hopes.
