In Kuban, production of antiseptics and disinfectants increased 20 times in a year.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, local manufacturers managed to promptly close the acute shortage of products.

The regional Industrial Development Fund is largely credited with achieving the high production results. On its basis, a special program to support manufacturers of essential goods has been developed. Five companies received loans for 59 million rubles, at an annual interest rate of 1%, on the most preferential terms.

Now this program has come to an end, but the support continues in other directions. For instance, the manufacturers can get subsidies under the state programme for the development of industry or participate in exhibitions.

Today there are 9 producers of sanitizers and disinfectants operating in the region. The daily maximum production capacity of all the businesses is about 150 tonnes a day. Their products are also supplied to other regions of the country.
