In addition, trade turnover between the Russian metropolis and this country in Europe has increased: in the first three months of 2021, it was about $ 3.5 billion (plus 4.4% against the 2020 figure).

In the center of support and development of export "Mosprom" told that non-resource non-energy exports take almost 19% of the total exports of Moscow to Italy. Industrial and agro-industrial exports increased in the first quarter. As a whole the industrial export of non-primary non-energy products of Moscow enterprises has increased by 158,5% for a year (from 157,62 million last year to more than 407 million this year).

This year Moscow has supplied Italy almost 35 million rubles worth of immunological products, which were exported there in insignificant quantities last year, said Alexander Prokhorov, the head of Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

Moscow export of agricultural products in the first quarter of 2021 increased by 51.2% to three million dollars. And this year the capital's companies for the first time began to deliver to this European country polypropylene and dental hygiene products.

As noted by analysts, the commodity structure of exports of agricultural products is quite concentrated, and therefore Moscow companies should expand the range of products that can be delivered to Italy.
