Council of Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) on the industrial development and competitiveness of the economy made a proposal to create a network of centers of technological excellence in the regions, which will support breakthrough innovation projects, said the head of the CCI Sergey Katyrin.
He said that the consolidated report of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the implementation of the road map in engineering and industrial design has already included the concept of a network of centers of technological excellence, which was developed in the CCI Council, writes TASS.
According to Katyrin, the main task of such center will be rendering complex engineering services including research and development activities as well as production and testing and certification activities aimed at creating and introducing modern technologies in the framework of implementation of breakthrough innovation projects and programs.
Now the regions are engaged in selecting high-tech companies that could become pilot centers of technological excellence, said the head of the CCI. Chambers of Commerce and Industry and engineering centers in Tula, Kaluga, Rostov, Yaroslavl, Voronezh, Volgograd, Moscow, Tambov, Tomsk regions, Stavropol and Krasnodar, Mordovia, Chuvashia, Dagestan, St. Petersburg participated in this work, added Katyrin.
Now the Chamber's experts are working on the instruments of technology transfer. The Ministry of Education and Science, according to the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is forming a network of technology transfer centers. By 2024 a minimum of 35 scientific organizations and universities will receive subsidies of 30 million rubles to support the practice of technology transfer.
He said that the formation process itself will include several stages.
