Moscow restaurateurs will forgive to keep "no-QR" entrance to summer verandahs

Moscow restaurateurs appealed to the mayor's office with a request to keep visiting summer verandahs in Moscow without showing a QR code. This was reported by Sergey Mironov, vice-president of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Russia, the ombudsman in the sphere of restaurant business in Moscow.

"Now we are talking about extending the regime of work of summer verandahs - this is inevitable, otherwise everything will not stand. Extending the regime of the summer porches and some additional measures of financial support, so that restaurants could hold out", - he was quoted as saying by RIA "Novosti".

According to him, now it is difficult to assess the impact of new restrictive measures on the industry as a whole. For example, institutions engaged in delivery of popular dishes - pizza or sushi, as well as restaurants with large summer porches, recording an increase in revenue.

There is also a positive trend in canteens and cafes in business centers and production facilities, as they do not require a QR code to visit them.

We would remind you that since 28 June, only citizens who have been vaccinated against coronavirus, had it no more than six months ago, or people with a negative PCR test can visit the capital's public catering establishments and mass events with a population of over 500 people.

It is expected that after July 12, these rules will also apply to seasonal summer cafes and porches in the city.
