Prefabrika AG, a resident of the Kashira Special Economic Zone (SEZ) near Moscow, has started to prepare the site for the construction of a new innovative enterprise where single-family and multi-family houses will be manufactured.

According to Ekaterina Zinovjeva, the Minister for Investment, Industry and Science of the region, the area of the new plant will amount to 20 thousand square meters. About 3 billion rubles will be invested in the project. In the first stage 400 new jobs will be created at the plant.

The production startup, according to the head of the department, is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.

Right now, they are completing the clearing and levelling of the 8.4 hectares of land, putting in place the roads within the site, and installing the temporary electrical network. Installation of security fencing and temporary buildings will commence shortly.

Once the preparatory work is completed, the site will be handed over to the general contractor. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin this fall.
