KAMAZ will launch production of automotive components in Kazakhstan
KAMAZ will establish production of car components for new models of K5 generation vehicles in Kostanay, Kazakhstan, according to the press service of the Russian company.
The products manufactured here will be sent to the main conveyor of the enterprise in Naberezhnye Chelny.
"Today the construction of the second plant for the production of main drive axle gears, with a production capacity of about 74 thousand main gears per year," the report says and specifies that the start of the first batch of car components is planned for the third quarter of 2024.
According to the General Director of KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin, the enterprise in Kazakhstan will localize the newest technologies of vehicle building. He said it will boost development of related sectors of the economy in Kazakhstan and contribute to creation of new jobs.
In addition, through the use of new technologies, such as in the design of the main transmission, will provide high efficiency and fuel efficiency of the new generation of cars K5.
As recalled in the press service, now the Russian company together with its partners from Kazakhstan is building an iron casting plant in the industrial area of Kostanay.
