Almost 60% of catering employees in Krasnodar Krai have been vaccinated against coronavirus infection, the Krai Department of Consumer Sphere and Alcohol Market Regulation reported.

"As of June 15, 2021, an average of 59.9% of catering employees in the region had been vaccinated against COVID-19," the department said.

According to the authorities, the highest number of vaccinated, taking into account the number of catering facilities, was recorded in Novorossiysk, Armavir, Temryuksky, Tuapse, Dinsk, Yeisky and Seversky districts. At the same time in large catering chains in Krasnodar, all employees have been vaccinated against covid-19, the department added.

Earlier, the requirement to vaccinate workers in the service sector was introduced in 22 regions of Russia.

There are four anticoronavirus vaccines registered in the country. These are Sputnik V and Sputnik Lite of the Gamaleya Centre, EpiVacCorona of the Novosibirsk Vector Centre, and CoviVac, created at the Chumakov Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
