Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Russia Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Saati paid a working visit to the Republic of Bashkortostan.

As part of his business mission, Al-Saati took a special interest in education in the oil and gas industry. He also discussed with the Republic's Prime Minister Andrei Nazarov a plan for possible working cross-visits of business representatives. The development of tourism between the subjects, including the organization of flights from Ufa to Manama, was among the topics discussed.

The dialogue on mutual cooperation is expected to continue during the XII International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit 2021", to be held on July 28-30. , which will be held from 28 to 30 July.

The volumes of foreign trade turnover between the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Kingdom of Bahrain have not yet reached high levels.
