A new tourist complex on Zavyalovo Island will become a new point of attraction in the Russian Far East, according to Deputy Prime Minister Yury Trutnev.
He expressed the hope that Zavyalova Island will become a point of attraction for tourists from Central Russia and other regions.
"In the future, it may become a project of international level, when this territory will become known outside the Magadan region and a tourist and recreational cluster with unique fauna will appear here," the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation quoted him as saying.
Trutnev noted that investors are ready to come to the Magadan region. They are ready to invest in new projects, build hotels and tourist complexes, hunting lodges and recreational areas, which will have a positive impact on the budget revenues of the region and will create new jobs. "Qualitatively different competencies for the industry will be formed. And the Far Eastern regions will receive additional revenues to the budget," he said.
