A new Pietra Bianca plant for the production of import-substituting stone products was launched in the Tver region with the financial support of the Corporation for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME).
"The Russian-Italian project was implemented by Artishock Group with the financial support of SME Bank, which previously provided a loan of 500 million rubles. Preferential financing was provided with loan security in the form of guarantee of SME Corporation in the amount of 330 million rubles and guarantee of the Fund of Small Business Assistance in Moscow in the amount of 20 million rubles", - said the corporation.
The plant will produce blocks of marble, limestone and travertine, produce large slabs for further processing and manufacturing products. The new production facilities will be able to process up to 11 million tons of stone annually, and the total volume of stone processing in the company will grow by 200%. The company's current production capacity is up to 1 thousand square meters of slabs a day. The company plans to triple its production output in at least 2 years. New jobs have been opened for 50 employees.
Artishock is one of the leading stone processing companies in Moscow region. The company's product line includes: finishing materials (slabs, tiles, cladding and others), countertops, window sills, fireplaces, bar counters, small architectural forms, mosaics, mosaic panels and others. Since 2016, Artishock has been the exclusive supplier of quartz agglomerate and acrylic stone kitchen countertops to IKEA. According to the results of 2020, the company's revenue amounted to 1.1 billion rubles.
