Half of Muscovites support the introduction of QR codes when visiting fitness clubs - survey

Almost a half of Muscovites consider implementation of QR codes while visiting fitness clubs as the most effective way to improve the epidemiological situation in the metropolis, according to the survey data of IFORS Research.

Thus 48% of the capital's residents have expressed the opinion that QR-codes should be first of all placed in the sport centers and halls and in dancing classes. One third of citizens (34%) approve introduction of such system while visiting theatres, cinemas and concerts. Another one-third of respondents said such a measure should be introduced in beauty salons, spas, bathhouses and massage parlours.

At the same time 59% of Moscow citizens have reacted negatively to the idea to establish QR codes in the public transport, and 58% were against the use of such system in shopping centers, supermarkets and stores.

The opinions of the Muscovites were also divided concerning the effectiveness of introduction of the so-called invisible zones. Thus, 48% stated that QR codes and "flowerless" zones help to improve the situation with disease incidence in the metropolis, while 45% stated that these measures don't help to fight the spread of covids.

The poll was conducted among 1 thousand residents of the capital between July 12 and 15 of the current year.
