The Krasnodar Territory has launched a program for testing innovative biopreparations for agriculture.

Governor Veniamin Kondratiev said that the region needs technologies capable of maintaining the fertility of land and contributing to the production of environmentally friendly products.

According to him, under the program in the region will study the effectiveness of domestic developments in wheat, sunflower, corn, apple, potato, rice and soybeans. The expected effect is to protect against diseases and pests, strengthen immunity and increase plant yields.

"Therefore, the region was the first in the country to adopt a law on soil fertility conservation. As for cattle breeding, it is known that the quality of milk directly depends on fodder. Here, we also need technologies that will enable us to produce safe forage additives", - Kondratiev said.

It is known that the project participants will be the "Yuzhnye Zemli", "Alma Holding", agricultural firm "Vesna", "Resurs-AgroBusiness", "Vozrozhdenie", SPK "Shturbino", IE Khunagova, and the "Kuban" training farm of the KubGAU.
