The Ministry of Finance has prepared official clarifications regarding the application and execution by importers of the norms of federal laws concerning the declaration of conformity of wine products.

Thus, alcohol in Russia is released into circulation with a declaration of conformity of products with the requirements of technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union. These regulations, as clarified by the department, do not establish the classification of types of wine products.

"For alcoholic products with a registered declaration of conformity, provided the physical, chemical and other properties of the products remain unchanged, it is possible to carry out replacement in a simplified manner," the message reads.

In case of replacement of such declarations in terms of specifying the names of the types of products, repeated research and measurements in an accredited testing laboratory will not be required. The applicant will be able to apply for registration of the new declaration of conformity through a special service on the Rosakkreditatsiya website.

Registration is free of charge.
