Hungary has allowed entry for tourists from Russia who have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus. Travelers will be able to enter the country starting July 27, the country's Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó said in his official Facebook account.
According to the minister, Hungary has always been one of the most popular destinations among Russians, so the possibility for Russian tourists to visit the country again will help the local tourism sector.
Szijjártó added that in accordance with the decision of the Russian government, Russia had resumed issuing business and tourist visas to Hungarian citizens. In order to obtain a visa it is necessary to submit a negative PCR test.
As a reminder, air travel between Russia and Hungary has been resumed since June 10.
