High yields had a positive impact on the dynamics of vegetable prices

This year's good harvest will have a positive impact on vegetable prices. This was reported by the National Agrarian Agency. They have already gone down in price by 7 to 27% within a month.

In particular, as of July 21, potatoes went down in price by 2.7% per week and by 11.3% per month, carrots - by 2% and 8.9% per month, cucumbers - by 1.8% and 14.3% per month, tomatoes - by 6.5% and 27.1% per month, onions - by 7.2% and 24.8% per month.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the tendency to reduce the cost of plant products will continue to support "the expansion of production, increased competition, trade without intermediaries and additional mark-ups.

As a reminder, earlier it was reported that lemons went down in price by 30% over the year, garlic - by 10%, millet - by 11%.

"Leaders of the price increase over the past few months have been "borsch set" vegetables - beets, carrots, potatoes. They rose by 69% (to Br48.3 per kg), by 56% (to Br52.5) and by 50% (to Br41.4), respectively.
