Ilshat Nurullin, head of the production preparation department and head of the system implementation project at the automobile plant, said that the company's practice was recognized as the best in the productivity enhancement category. "The contest participants and the jury highly appreciated Kamaz's comprehensive approach to the implementation of digital technologies," he noted.

He explained that the implementation of digitalization in the company began with the ERP system, which allows to plan all the resources of the enterprise: the formation of the customer order to control the delivery of components, cost accounting and the formation of the cost of production.

"Kamaz is also introducing electronic workflow, MES, a system of identification and traceability, End of Line.

Terminals are being installed in production which show electronic instructions for assembly of components, problems on orders. The system controls automatic tools - electronic nutrunners, charging stations installed on the conveyor.
