Omsk Innovative Technologies Plant has opened a new building where boiler equipment will be manufactured.

The construction of the building began in 2019, and now the production has reached its full capacity. Its total capacity has increased 4.5 times, up to 13.5 thousand tons of finished products per year.

Three years ago, the enterprise received a preferential loan of 300 million rubles. This money was used by the enterprise to purchase equipment that allowed it to reduce the cost of production by 8%, increase its reliability and reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere.

At the moment, according to the mass media, about 60% of the domestic market is occupied by imported boiler equipment. Putting the new complex into operation will make it possible to reduce dependence on foreign supplies by 15%.

The company manufactures water, steam and thermal oil boilers under the Lavart brand. At the beginning of July this year the plant has produced specially designed boiler equipment for the new research complex of Vostok-2 station in Antarctica where the temperature can drop to minus 89 degrees Centigrade. The company's customers include Gazprom, Rosneft and Lukoil, which equip Omsk-based boilers for modular boiler houses designed to run on natural gas or on heavy grades of liquid fuel in northern Russia.
