Kalmykian authorities are working on additional support measures for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs who have created new jobs in the republic, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development said.

"In 2021, more than 263 million rubles, including about 261 million rubles at the expense of the federal budget and 2.6 million rubles at the expense of the republican budget are provided for these purposes within the individual program. The measures will help to create 882 jobs and implement two investment projects", the ministry explained.

Batu Khasikov, head of the region, pointed out that the priority is given to measures aimed at the development of the real economy, "directly including the creation of jobs and the increase of the revenue part of the budget.

Besides, the Government of Kalmykia decided to increase the capitalization of the regional microfinancing organizations in order to stimulate business and investment activities. This will make it possible to provide entrepreneurs with access to borrowed funds and stimulate them to create new jobs.
