Argentine pharmaceutical company Laboratorios Richmond SACIF will supply 3 million doses of the second component of Sputnik V vaccine to the republic in August. This is stated in a joint statement of the company and the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

It is noted that by the end of the week in Argentina will begin to distribute the vaccine manufactured in the territory of the South American republic, including 150 thousand doses of the second component.

Recall, earlier in the Argentine media there was information about the shortage of the second component of the Russian drug in the country. Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov responded by saying that Moscow's commitments to foreign partners to provide the Sputnik V vaccine will be fulfilled gradually, as the Russian authorities' priority is to vaccinate its own population. RDIF said they were working "to continue uninterrupted supplies" of the vaccine.
