The volume of sturgeon caviar exports in the Vologda region as of August 1 amounted to 108.7 thousand dollars, twice the level of 2020, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture said.

It is specified that Diana Fish and Food Firm, Russia's largest aquaculture sturgeon-breeding enterprise, supplies its products for export. The company has been breeding sturgeon fishes, including the caviar, for over 20 years.

Since the beginning of 2021, the firm has exported more than 0.5 tons of black caviar to Singapore, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Canada and Belarus under the "Russian Caviar House" brand.
