Authorities have increased funding for the Mikhailovsky and Komsomolsk ASEZs in the Far East

Funding for the "Mikhailovsky" and "Komsomolsk" priority development areas in the Russian Far East will be increased, according to the government website.

For example, funding for the Mikhailovsky ASEZ in Primorsky Territory will be increased by 309 million roubles. The funds will be used to create an autonomous gas supply system, which is necessary for the construction of a modern livestock cluster. It is expected that more than 1.5 thousand new jobs will be created at the enterprise, and the total amount of private investment in the agricultural complex will exceed RUR 9 billion.

Additional funding for Komsomolsk Local Economic and Social Development Area in Khabarovsk Krai amounts to almost 700 million rubles. The money will be used, among other things, to build several production and administrative buildings, an office building and a transformer substation for the residents.

A PDA is a special tool for the development of territories designed to stimulate priority sectors of the economy and attract new investors, thereby contributing to the prosperity of regional residents. Residents have access to a wide range of benefits and preferences, including reduced tax and insurance rates and a free customs zone procedure.
