More than 1.6 million Russians have used the tourist cashback program, they got back almost 6.7 billion rubles, according to Rostourism.

The last sales of tours and accommodation in hotels in Russia with cashback for the current year ended on the night of September 10.

"In total, since the beginning of the year, according to preliminary data, more than 1.6 million Russians have used the program. In total, Russians bought tours and hotel stays with a cashback in 2021, more than 34 billion rubles, with about 6.7 billion rubles returned to tourists in the form of cashback", - told the department.

According to Rostourism, the most popular during the current sales window were trips to the Krasnodar region, the Stavropol Territory and the Crimea. In addition, Russians have been actively buying health tours in the Altai, Tyumen and cultural and educational tours in Pskov, Novgorod, Yaroslavl region, Tatarstan, Kaliningrad, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Samara.
