Entrepreneurs of the Moscow region will start to be compensated for the costs of logistics and certification of products according to the requirements of foreign importers, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the region said.

"When exporting products, Moscow Region companies will be able to compensate up to 80% of the costs of transport and logistics services. The funding limit per subject will be no more than 5 million rubles a year and no more than 10% of the cost of exported products," the ministry head Ekaterina Zinovieva said.

In addition, small and medium business enterprises will be able to reimburse up to 80% and other subjects of entrepreneurship - up to 50% of the costs of certification of production and products in accordance with the requirements of foreign consumers . Both services for reimbursement of export costs can be obtained from the Fund for support of foreign economic activity of the Moscow region.

"We expect that about 500 regional companies will be able to benefit from reimbursement of costs for transport services during international shipments. Another 150 companies will be able to receive reimbursement of costs for certification of products in accordance with the requirements of foreign counterparties. The new programs are expected to increase regional exports by $170 million a year," said the head of the department.
