In Moscow the turnover in trade and services in the period from January to July 2021 amounted to 8 trillion rubles. This was reported by Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov.
"According to a number of indicators we not just came to the pre-pandemic level, but even exceeded it. In particular, it's industry, as well as food and non-food trade. "The total turnover of trade and services in January-July 2021 amounted to Br8 trillion, while in the second half of last year this figure was about Br6 trillion," "Izvestia" quotes him.
He noted that consumer behavior has changed somewhat: the average receipt of purchases in the capital city has increased, Muscovites are visiting malls less frequently, buy more in a single trip to the store or prefer to order the necessities on the Internet.
