The deadline for payment of orders to suppliers under government contracts was reduced in Moscow

The Moscow City Government is reducing the payment terms for state contracts, according to the official website of the mayor's office mos.ru.

According to Vladimir Yefimov, the deputy mayor of the capital, the reduction of payment terms for public procurement will be carried out in stages. So, from October 1, 2021 the payment for contracts for purchases from small businesses and socially-oriented nonprofit organizations will take no more than 10 working days from the date of signing instead of 15. For other contracts the period will not exceed 15 working days instead of 30. Further, from January 1, 2022 the payment period will take no more than seven and 10 working days respectively.

Reducing the terms of payment for public procurement is a significant measure of support for more than 230 thousand suppliers of the city, the mayor's office notes.

Changes in templates of contracts in the Uniform Automated Information System of the Trading (UAIST) will become accessible since September, 20th and on December, 20th, 2021. It automates procurement processes, excludes errors and human factor. All documents are registered quickly and are available online.
