Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the allocation of additional funding to Russian Post for the expansion of its services.

According to the website of the Kremlin, it is a question of allowing residents to receive medicines in the branches of Russian Post. In addition, it is assumed that Russians will be able to receive "legally significant messages", as well as state and municipal services in branches in electronic form.

It was reported earlier that "Russian Post" will hold an experiment on on-line sale of Russian wine. It may start this summer in the Moscow region and Mordovia. Besides, the company is going to launch sale of goods under its own brand "Postal brand", which will unite 10 product classes, including perishable products.
