The government has allocated more than 50 billion rubles for the development of Mineralnye Vody

More than 50 billion rubles have been allocated by the Russian Government for measures on development of the Caucasian Mineralnye Vody resort towns.

The list of development measures includes 24 projects that will serve to solve priority problems. In particular, it concerns the improvement of engineering and public utility infrastructure, repair of roads, attraction of investments into the objects of sanatorium-resort complex, and creation of public spaces.

"Financing mechanisms have already been determined for three measures related to the reconstruction and expansion of treatment facilities in Pyatigorsk and Mineralnye Vody. For 21 other events the sources of fund raising and implementation time are to be specified", - the Cabinet pointed out.

The government expects that the document will allow to significantly improve the quality of the communal and transport infrastructure in the resort towns of the Caucasian Mineral Waters and make the region even more attractive for Russian and foreign tourists.
