In November 2021 a plant producing hormonal drugs will start operating in Tyumen region.
Pharmsintez-Tyumen plant will become one of the largest hormonal drug manufacturing plants in Europe. It is equipped with seven production lines which will enable the production of hormonal drugs in the amount of about 1 billion packs a year.
It is expected that its launch will make it possible to almost halve Russia's import dependence on hormonal drugs within two or three years.
Now about 95% of all hormonal drugs in Russia are imported. The volume of imports is estimated at 50 billion rubles.
As a reminder, plans to build a new plant were first announced in 2018. Its construction was completed in 2 years. The total investment in the project amounted to about 4 billion rubles.
